Interview with Kathy Roessner : Frank Scott: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?. Kathy Roessner : We wanted to achieve a strong sense of the JOURNEY so we went with a strong travel theme. From the license plate to travel illustrations to the format of the invitation as a map. .Frank Scott: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?. Kathy Roessner : From concept to layout and production, the total time was approximately 2 months. .Frank Scott: Who is the target customer for his design?. Kathy Roessner : The target audience is the Quicken Loans employees. .Frank Scott: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?. Kathy Roessner : JRNE was used on the licencse plate of the invitation and was so named to signify the journey that Quicken Loans has experienced over the course of their existence. .Frank Scott: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?. Kathy Roessner : We used the Adobe suite of products: Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. .Frank Scott: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?. Kathy Roessner : We used experienced Illustrators for the various travel themed vignettes. .
